重阳感想

陈邦政

尊敬的各位老师、亲爱的同学们:大家早上好!

人生易老天难老,岁岁重阳,今又重阳。据史料考证,重阳节始于远古时期,成型于春秋战国,普及于西汉,鼎盛于唐代以后。在唐代被正式定为民间节日。重阳节时佩茱萸,登高台,食蓬饵,赏菊花,饮菊花酒,以求长寿。清代以后,赏菊之俗尤为昌盛,时间也不限于九月九日,但仍然是重阳节前后最为繁盛。现在,我们国家给重阳节赋于了新的寓义,传统与现代巧妙地结合,定重阳节这一天为中国老年节,也称为老人节、敬老节。

尊老敬老是中华民族的传统美德,爱老助老是全社会的共同责任。深怀敬老之心,倾注爱老之情,笃行助老之事。尊敬老人的家庭是和谐的家庭,尊敬老人的社会是发展的社会,尊敬老人的学校是进步的学校,尊敬老人的学生才是文明的学生。作为一名高中学生,在尊老爱老方面能做的、应该做好的事有很多,孝顺父母和尊敬师长是起点。孝敬父母的重点是敬重和爱戴,多用心与父母交流,与父母交心、不忤逆。尊敬老师的关键是亲师信道,用心体悟老师的教导,积极地接受老师的指导和建议,并落实在具体的整改行动上。很多事不要让老师把话说得很直白甚至很难听了才去做。如果非逼得老师吼你才做,甚至吼了还做不好,何谈尊敬师长?还有,尊老敬老爱老绝不是重阳节一天的事,应该成为日常生活中的一种习惯,习惯成自然,润物无声,久久为功。

    天若有情天亦老,人间正道是沧桑。以前我在车上为老人让座,老人们都能欣然接受。近期我再为颤颤巍巍上车的老人们让座时,他们多善意的婉拒了。有的说一站就下车了,有的说你坐吧,让你旁边的年轻人让个座,…… 当时有些失落,也似有一丝“廉颇老矣”的秋凉。三十五年教坛纵横,是老教师了,人也真的老啦?我相信同事们也有过相似的经历和感受。人在广东,重阳夜难聚首,万里悲秋常作客,体衰多病独登台。这两天的阅读学习有了不同的感受,根据我国最新的年龄划分标准,41~65岁为中年人,其中41~55岁为稳健期,56~65岁为调整期。同龄的同事们,不要逢“秋”悲寂寥。大家五十岁上下,历经改革经验多,已过不惑修为好。秀骨青松不老,新词玉佩相磨,能挽雕弓如满月,正处在人生的黄金期。年龄不是问题,白发不是问题,请以积极乐观的心态坦然面对,尊重自然规律,天人合一,心安岭南。自尊自爱,自省自律。永葆激情,与时俱进。超越自我,升华境界。团结拼搏,再创辉煌,做年轻人的表率,赢得全社会的尊重和爱戴。

   上周,周三全国过了重阳节,周四学校办了成人礼。莲子长成荷叶老,我们都有年少时,也会步入耆耄期。人人都该用感恩之心去面对生命中的每一个人,老吾老以及人之老,幼吾幼以及人之幼。我们学校创办人、碧桂园董事局主席杨国强先生大爱无疆,兼济天下,为我们树立了尊老爱幼的光辉典范。他创办慈善学校、设立奖学金,使象同学们一样的年少朋友不因贫穷而失学失志,不因贫穷而失于草莽,爱幼之情惠及数以万计青少年。他百忙中不忘回村照看老人,他领导碧桂园资助扶持顺德善耆养老家园、武清双树敬老院等数不胜数,尊老敬老,爱老助老之行全社会敬仰。同事们、同学们,不论我们是中老年还是青少年,我们都要向他学习,找准位置,与时俱进,把握平衡,用心去做,将尊老爱幼的传统美德传承永远,发扬光大。   谢谢!

How to Deal with Stress in Exams

Good morning, my dear teachers and fellow students:

   It’s my great honor to stand here to give you a speech. Today my topic is how to deal with stress in exams.

   As we all know, we have been facing various exams since primary school, and it’s not surprising that we often feel stressed out, especially when we have to face some quite important ones. So it’s of vital importance that we learn how to realize your full potential in different kinds of exams.

   First and the most important of all, work hard to have a good command of knowledge, so that you might be more skillful in coping with problems. Besides, set a practical goal. Make sure you know what to expect in an exam instead of aiming too high, which may disturb you and as a result make it hard for you to keep calm. When you achieve every goal you set, you can build you confidence little by little.

   Secondly, since a good night’s sleep is essential to help us keep energetic and alert, don't stay up late the night before to prepare for the coming tests. If you find yourself unable to get rid of tension of the exam, take a deep breath and concentrate on what you are doing at the moment. Meanwhile, at the beginning of the test, you’d better not challenge the most difficult problems. What you should do first is to make sure you can work out most of the basic and middle-level problems. By doing this, you can have a better performance. 

   Finally, after the exams, you’d better not concentrate your attention on the score itself. Instead, it is the knowledge you haven’t mastered yet that should be the center of your attention. After reflecting on the exams, you can know the knowledge much better than before. Only when we take full advantage of every exam can we make progress.

  You may find the exams quite challenging and exhausting. However, challenges have always been part of life, so is dealing with stress.  While it is impossible to live completely free of stress, it is possible to prevent stress as well as reduce its effect.

What matters is our attitude towards it. Keep in mind that it is our own weaknesses and shortcomings that we need to overcome to develop better ourselves.
